Negotiation Update #1

Negotiations have begun and we have exchanged proposals. One of the Hospital’s proposals affects the “lump sum” option in our pension plan. On September 9th, the Hospital will make a presentation detailing its finances. We intend to engage in meaningful discussion once we have all the facts.

Our proposals include a number of discussion items that affect you and your practice. You will receive a copy of both sets of proposals after our next meeting on September 9th.
