CONTRACT SETTLEMENT REACHED ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2009!!!

Highlights include:

• 5%steps remain in place throughout the contract
  
• 2 ½% to top step to make it a full 5% step effective July 2010
  
• 1% across-the-board October 2010
  
• 1% across-the-board October 2011
  
• Nurses on the step scale will receive a total of 12% over the 2 year agreement
• Nurses at the top of the pay scale will receive 4.5% over the 2 year agreement
  
• Parking rates frozen for the first year of the contract
  
• Sick time cash out continued through the term of the contract
  
• Retirement plan – elimination of lump sum premium has been postponed until Sept. 2010
  
• Duration 10/1/09 – 10/23/11
