Negotiation Update #3

At our third negotiation session, the hospital continued to REJECT the following MNA proposals:

1. Medical Insurance (allow nurses the ability, annually, to choose the MNA contractually-protected plans)
2. Pay Raise (hospital is still proposing 0% increase for 2 years)
3. Freeze on parking rates
4. All nursing department managers shall assume a full patient care assignment 4 times/year
5. One year contract

AND continued to propose TAKE-AWAYS:

1. Double time
2. Increase overall percentage of Variables to 50%
3. Force all newly-employed RNs into the Flex Program
4. Eliminate 2 holidays and 5 sick days
